So, I just decided to write a little about some things that are going through my mind after reading Bleach 611.
I loved the whole Ichibei x YH fight, it was beautiful, the art was incredible, and it had many surprises, specially because everybody knew how it was going to end.

Now, Bleach 611 starts with YH talking about where Ichibei died. I loved this because Ichibei's feet seem to be where Ichibei said the fight was going to end, but his head was 3 steps away, where YH predicted. Of course you can't measure 3 steps there, but it seems like it. We all know that YH can see the future now, but how about Ichibei? Could he feel something, or was it pure trash talk??
Then we had basically 4 pages (2 + a double page) showing the same thing, the SK's palace, and that's what drives me crazy, why Kubo, why?!?!?! Your chapters are already short and you do that to us ¬¬

Well, another problem was the title, it might not be a big deal if the SK isn't really dead, but it'd be so much better to save it for us to see him being stabbed than to tell right in the title that he's going to die. It ruined the climax of the chapter, or the only 5/5 part of it. Anyway, most people didn't like what happened to Ichibei. I personally did. I liked the way he died, loved the way his parts were just laying there, and although I'd prefer him to stay dead, I think the way he came back tells more than we can understand right now, specially because he used Ichigo's powers to do so.

Kubo likes to use religious approaches and analogies in Bleach. There are lots of fight analysis that show us that, I remember one about Uryu, Renji and Szael and Mayuri, it was great. So, what I think is that now the monk is clearly related to buddhism, and as they believe in mantras, so he believes that words possess powers, although for some people that's "loads of shit" as it is for Ichigo, the monk still is able to use it. It's cool that until now only YH and Ichibei called him by his name.

I think in the end, Kubo is trying to connect several religions he may know about. Bleach would be like the conflicts inside his head about everything he believes and he studied to create his own ideas and beliefs. In that scenario, the monk and his words are the buddhism, while, of course, YH is related to christ. Now the thing is, I always thought YH was related to GOD itself, that what his name means. But the thing is, he could also be related to Jesus, and his name could be something Kubo did to trick us. Why is that? Because that's not his name, that's how people called him or named him. That itself explain two possible things:

1 - Kubo doesn't believe the first name used for GOD in the bible was GOD's name, it's Kubo way of saying that people wrote the bible and created the name, or;
2 - Kubo wanted to show us how much people need to create or believe in a God, so they named the miracle kid after him.

If YH is an analogy for Jesus, then this chapter would show us how Kubo sees this whole GOD/Jesus scenario. If you think that there was a God, he could be real or made up, and there was a book, the old testament, and people would live according to that god's rules (something like the soul king). Now, there his son, Jesus, and try not to think about Jesus as God, but as different things. Jesus could have powers or not, it doesn't matter, what matters is that this MAN was so incredible he made everyone believe he's god, or that the GOD known as ONE is now also three. Nowadays, Jesus and God are almost the same to people, but this "new" God is so different from the old GOD when you compare the old and new testaments. So, God is not human, but Jesus, son of God as every other human being, with powers or not, convinced almost everyone to follow him, therefore, Jesus "killed" the old God, creating this new concept of a benevolent all forgiving god, or in other words, the new testament nullifies the old one. That is what YH killing the soul king means, the son killing the god (father). The miracle son, or the son whose powers come from people; What made Jesus into a "god" is the fact that people believed in him as one. * I'm not saying this as a personal opinion, and just trying to come up with a way of seeing things that is possible for japaneses about christian culture and stuff, and maybe for Kubo ( I personally think Kubo does not believe in any God, but I might be completely wrong)

There's a book by Bart D. Ehrman called How Jesus Became God, I haven't read it yet but I think the title speaks for itself. Anyway, what do you think about all of this??
If YH is indeed the SK's son, doesn't that make all Quincies more special, even Ichigo would be closer to the SK, what would that mean to him? a blood connection to YH and the SK!!?!?!

Bleach volume 66 cover is out, check it here ----> books.shueisha.co.jp/search/bo…

Do you think Bleach will end in 2015, this last chapter makes me believe so, that would mean we would have only approximately 40~50 chapters left. Do you think that's enough to explain everything there's to be explained, all the bankais yet to see. I mean, Ichigo is very close to YH, if Kubo start showing other fights and leave that to the final it'll be in the end of 2015. But what about all the characters that we still didn't see fighting? I can't believe Bleach will end so fast, I don't want to believe, I need at least another turn back the pendulum. Robert Accutrone's speech shows that he knows YH long enough to have survived one "selection", maybe in the first war 1000 years ago. We have to see that, and Shinji's, Urahara's, Shunsui's, Aizen's and Ukitake's bankai. I just hope WS Jump is not pressing Kubo to end things earlier.

Sorry for this long text guys, you're a fighter if you've reached the end!!
Cheers!!!

The main reason I'm writing this is because a lot of people and reviewers are not seeing everything there's to see in this chapter.

Basically, READ THIS, Yhwach has two pupils in each eye. That is what he meant when he said he had his eyes closed. He activated some sort of ability and then his pupils doubled. That's what happened in that weird page, page 14 in mangastream. The right image show both eyes fine, the left image is a zoom in one eye only, and in the white eyeball, two pupils appear. That's what's happening and that makes YH become omniscient or seeing everything. So basically, he activated some new ability and we still don't know if that helped him eliminate some of the ink and regain his powers. Maybe that's some sort of "god'" mode. I think eyes will be a big part in the end, remember that the Soulking himself has strange eyes, and Aizen also had new eyes when he evolved.

Anyway, people keep talking about how Ichibei lost because he explained his abilities, are u serious? That has nothing to do with that, he lost because YH is a beast, the closest thing to a god so far in bleach. And I also like the fact the YH used the same method to ilude Ichibei as he used with Yama. He makes them think he'll use his sword, but in the end he used his massive reish sword to stab them. The one that looks like the reishi sword zangetsu gave Ichigo.
About the other things, loved Ichibei's bankai and the fact that he called it evolved zanpakutou. So nice to understand that even bankais had a beginning. I hope we get a flashback from the last war!!!

So, read the chapter again, because that made a lot of difference to me, and the one who made me see the two pupil thing was :icontommo2304: from [link]
Check that out!!! Not sure how that will look good, but Kubo might find a way.

So I'll try to do an all in one post. In this, I'll talk about today's bleach chapter, also about the sales of volume 64, which stated seling in japan last week, I'll also comment about the cover from volume 65 and this week BLeach TOC position.

Chapter 597, for me, was something around 7.0~7.5. I liked the middle of it a lot, but it was very short.
In the beginning we had Pepe afraid of getting eaten by Liltotto, which we all knew was gonna happen, so nothing new there.
I think I'm done with Pepe, I never liked him, or his ability, even if it were "the control" instead of "the love". I just like the way he died, it's so miserable to control people by love.
Anyway, the chapter goes on and it goes to the Royal Palace!!!! ^^
Kirinji can't hit Yhwach, and neither Shutara's soldiers (she definitely has something of a scientist or a smart person, she even uses soldiers for fighting instead of attacking).
Anyway, the big surprise is nothing can hit his majesty, and then we see the new, the crazy, the two tongue, stern ritter "W", the wind!!!
I loved how he looks different, I think he's the one who fought Ukitake in the first invasion. But the two tongues thing, just awesome. It even forms a W !!!
Then we cut back to Ichigo and friends taking of to the Royal Palace.
So, the beginning and the end was bullshit, no news at all, we all knew that. Kubo didn't even show Liltotto killing Pepe or Ichigo arriving at the Royal Palace. So, I'd prefer if he didn't waste pages and then hide Byakuya's fight with Nanana and Old Guy. By the way, Oldguy is not the "W" for the weapon. I said he could be "C" for cure, and that's how they could join the fight again, but we still don't know.
I wish Gigi could use her volstandig (her release could show her for real, as a boy or something, revealing her secrets, and that's why she doesn't like it) she can't be dead yet, or it'll be the worst zombie death ever.
So, I want to see the Wind fighting and also if another stern ritter is along with Yhwach. How can he always use those shadows at free will. Maybe Askin is the "D" for Dark, which would include the dimensions, or maybe just the dimensions include the dark (shadows).
Just glad we got back to the Royal Guard!! ^^^

About Volume 64, it sold approximately 322.085 units in the first week + 107.348 in the second week. At least Bleach still sells good and always end up selling more than 500k.

Volume 65 cover is online, not at high quality, but you can check it here -> i34.photobucket.com/albums/d11…
I liked it, Gigi deserves it, I just want to see it bigger and in better resolution!!

TOC: Bleach just left the bottom 5 of WSJ (weekly shonem jump) TOC this week. That didn't happen since february, and this week Bleach got the 7th position!!!!

I was just thinking, I believe those zombies are gonna be a great part of this final arc. Think about it, Kubo already had a manga named "ZOMBIE POWDER", so the guy is really into zombie stuff. Maybe he just realized that now it's probably a better time to play with his zombie ideas than back then (with walking dead, movies and all). Just like he inserted guns in Stark, I believe he was crazy to use them, he also used guns in zombie powder.
Besides that, I just want to say that I'm not very happy with this fight. I love Byakuya, but the way Kubo didn't show him putting those 3 down, I only wished a single page. Anyways, I believe the old guy with glasses will have some sort of speed and healing ability. So he'll heal himself and Nanana. Those two are definitely going to fight.
About Pepe, he's just that crazy comic stupid character, I was expecting something a lot different, and I don't really care how he looks, because I even liked Mask's fight and all. My problem is how much he reminds me of Zomari. And that's like coming back in time. If it were someone else fighting Pepe, then OK, but Byakuya? He could fight Nanana (full fight), or maybe Askin, even Shaz Domino, who knows if he's still alive. He could fight BG9, that would be different, but Pepe, I can't like that. Maybe Kubo is playing with all those characters and fights just to create something different. Like now, we don't know what are Kensei and Roojuro fighting for, or whom are they fighting for.
I think "C" stands for the "the cure" and this healing quincy is going to come and save the last of them.
Damn you Kubo, hiding the fights we wanna see (shinji x bazz-b, byakuya x nanana and oldguy in glasses, Nanana x Rojuro, Ukitake x WhoKnows) and showing us fights that look like old ones.

I just hope he shuts me up this week with a great chapter!!!

So, I just want to say that there were only two things I didn't like about this chapter:
1 - It felt too short, at least in comparison with the last ones;
2 - How could Hitsugaya use so much Ice in one hit (bigger than buildings) if he's still on shikai, wasn't that his problem against Bazz-B, that his shikai could not make so much ice?

Besides those two things, the chapter was awesome, I really enjoyed it.
First I'd like to talk about Toshiro, and how great he looks as a zombie. I think the reason he looks so great is because he doesn't give a f*ck about anything right now, so he is just doing whatever he's supposed to do, without thinking about damaging the place or nearby friends or anything. Besides, the look on his face is just so badass, I am just think that he's the most epic zombie I've seen so far.
I just loved that page where he is coming, we can see some scenario, and where Ikkaku, Yumichika, Mayuri and Hitsugaya are, then we get a good look on his face, I love that.
Although this chapter was short, everything was so big and so beautiful, and that's the price to pay when you're reading Kubo's manga. All the moments durings the fights, I could feel as if I was watching the animation already, I could see them swinging their swords and moving around, just so fluid.
Besides the Kubo's art, I also liked the difference between Toshiro and Bambietta and the explanation to it. For me it makes sense, imagine if Gigi's abilities works as a virus, it would need a living body to contaminate and living blood to reach his brain an overcome the control over his body. Now a dead body could not do that, because the cells are already dead, so I imagine it's like that her ability can't gain control over a dead brain, and that's why she must use something to control them, like food for example. Of course that the living body would be stronger and faster, and that explains why Charlotte could beat Bambietta.
I had some time to think about Toshiro's fight, and then I thought about why he changed his style so much. Toshiro is always so carelful but also has a bad temper and sometimes he can lose his head as he did with Aizen. So maybe after almost killing Hinamori he decide to fight carefully. Also, against Halibel, he took a first hit (which he used his ice clone) and then decided to fight from some distance, using his ice abilities. Now this time he's much stronger than his opponents, and he also doesn't care about anything, so that why he changed his style. He doesn't need to attack from distance, he is fast enough to humiliate Ikkaku and Yumichika, and that's how different their power are from a captain. You can see that he missed when trying to hit Mayuri, and Mayuri is not one of the fastest captains, and I really like that. I wish Toshiro could kill all the arrankar zombies already, in the same brutal way.

It was very cool to see that Mayuri is even more sadistic than Gigi, the guy knows how to be bad and to enjoy the suffering of others. Now I believe that among his drugs, he'll find a way to bring Toshiro back, because if he's not the one to do it, it's gonna be complicated, and after this chapter I'm sure Toshiro is alive and will return, although I'm loving his moments as a zombie.

I was thinking about it and it's been some time Kubo is into zombies. Remember when Byakuya was into As Nodt's fear and he pictured Rukia as a zombie. I think Kubo must be enjoying all that zombie thing. And even if we don't see Kira as a cyborg, there's a chance of him becoming a zombie for Mayuri too, who knows, I'd like to see him again.

PS.: For those of you who thought Kubo forgot about his "cutting arms thing" just because he froze Ikkaku's leg, look closes, Hitsugaya definitively cut away Charlotte's arm. So I guess Kubo must be as crazy for cutting arms as Mayuri's is about experimenting drugs on people.
